A story from NYT claiming that Apple is testing a curved glass iPod, has now recycled a new statement that a wearable iDevice ( iWatch ) is actually under works by California Tech Giant, Apple.
An iWatch evidently runs iOS, the story has it, and will stand apart from rivals based on Apple’s “understanding of how such glass can curve around the human body”.
WSJ says :
Apple Inc. is experimenting with designs for a watch-like device that would perform some functions of a smartphone, according to people briefed on the effort.
Apple has been experimenting various tweaks and twerps for its new iDevice line-ups. Apple had bought costly glass cutting machines back in 2011 for making curved glass iPhone 5 but ditched the idea as it would have cost much more then the current price.
Hopefully we don’t see an iPhone like the one in image below
This isn’t a very shocking news though as a trusted source reported Apple is working on a wrist-bound iDevice.
A rumor surfaced recently in December alleging that California Firm was in talks with Intel on a Bluetooth smartwatch having a 1.5 inch screen that would debut sometime in 2013. Yes, it was crazy, but still relevant.
And yes; Apple has both, the technology and patents to get started with this device as Smartphone market is already ripe and rivals are trying hard on getting Apple down. Hopefully their wish won’t be granted if a new innovation from Apple’s side is up and running.

Apple has been known for its secretive projects since its 1st iPod launch and obviously there is no guarantee that we would see an iWatch from Apple hitting the markets anytime soon.
That being said, iPad was launched 3 years after the original iPhone and now the 1st iPad is about to complete its 3 years and it won’t be too long to see Apple unveiling an all new iDevice product.
The question is, what will be it?
